Sure, it's the imperial attitude Europeans harbor. It all extends from royalty (or the lack thereof) that you cling to. Very us against them. I talk with Europeans all the time and depending where they're from (east or west as you put it) I hear it the way they speak of their neighboring countries. I come from European stock myself. Growing up, many of the people I came in contact with (relatives, friends, acquaintances) were emmigrants from Europe who left because they were fed up with the prevailing attitudes there. You think your complaints are original or contemporary? Think again. My German grandmother and Norwegian grandfather spewed out the same ridiculous nonsense about the Czechs and Romanians and Bulgars. I'm sure they had similar things to say about the Greeks too. Same bullshit, different era, new target.

Well i've got to say that meanwhile if lived my entire life in europei can't say i can agfree with you there, i for myself have not any problems with people from any country from europe. Eventhough we had a world war 2 here in europe it doesn't mean everyone hates eachother here. Don't you thing it's logic that people who have moved from europe to some other prt of the world would say such things about Europe, else it woudn't make sense he left it in the first place. Ofcourse the royaltys are a bit arrogant cant argue with that. But then again ur saying such things about European countries, 99% of the us people hate / dislike canadians as much as they can don't you think this attitude is kinda all around the world ?
