  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    how do I position the animation where I want it then?

    first I open the background image and then I tried:
    Animation - Insert frames - From file

    and all I get is Location within frame "upper left corner" or "centered"


    or is there a better way to do it?

    Cold, Have you created a gif file? Or taken an image, converted to gif, then duplicated the base gif, then made incremental changes to the succeding files or slides.......to create an animated gif?

    First i open my gif i want to use in animation shop.
    Then i check how many frames it is.
    Next i open the non moving part in animation shop.
    Copy the non moving part, drag it in the first one.
    Copy and drag it as many frames the gif is.
    Select all non moving frames
    Select all frames of gif
    Drag the frames in the non moving part
