i know William Shakespeare i know Homer, i dont know many others os i suppose my argument is if they are big enough for my dumb ass to know they must be someone.
but the thought that someone any one could write just like the man himslelf, and i know you agree, is "Ludacris"

I don't think it's the fact that he wrote "so much" because I know of a lot of other authors (modern and classical) who have written as much and more of wonderful Literature, the fact I think lies in how well it was publicized.....back then, as it is now talent was second to fame.....so the reason that me he so largely fawned over today could very well be that....he simply made a huge name for himself and managed to overshadow all the other authors and playwriting of his age.
Another thing about centuries old Literature and scriptures is that not everything survives....take Homer for example...there may have been a few other poets and bards far greater than him who's work never survived the ages.....so we only know of Homer....and thus revere him as the greatest.

the written word to be play with and toyed
Spreading thoughts and ideas with each line
readers willing till the point of annoyed
or will they find the writer is kind
but ill just stomp out this message quick
a sonnet of nothing but lies to behold
although you read this and think me quite thick
ill write the lines of both young and the old
ill write of my wiener and how I should be suck
and of my bung hole and how it shant be touch
and if she agrees, I shall have my fill of luck
and then ill nut in her mouth and thank her much

dono if this is a sonnet, but ill take a wack
so it can be graded by my friend jack.

im seeing a side of you ;)
So you think that he may not have been the best, but rather just more popular
like Britney Spears is popular, but Alica Keys can sing. so time will remember the white trash one in place of the litigant singer. I disagree, i think time has a way to filter out the bad ones. I think Homer transcended, and William stayed becouse they were and still are as close to perfect as a person could do.

Language is a paint brush, only a few can use it well. others can fake it, but most use a roller and throw in a profound 'fuck'
no i think if we traveled in time, we would find, these men of greatness and no better around. I feel that is the only reason they have stood the test of time.

i dont know if jack is grading it, retorting to what i wrote after or masturbating to porn
he seems to know this stuff, so i though ti would ask him
if it is, ill try and make one that makes sense.
if its not, i need to work on it
it has something to do with rhymes, and rhythm of the words
odd numbers of syllables i think, not sure

The public just remembers the popular and well publicized names......and here is where I get this theory from, a few months ago I came across Nikola Tesla....a man who made great breakthroughs in science especially n the field on electricity....he is the one who invented the AC current which we use today compared to Thomas Edison's DC current........yet people remember Edison better because he was a huge name and Tesla was more "small time" shall we say.

Similarly, Edison did not "invent" lightblub Joseph Swan did, Edison simply added a few things to it and got it patented in the US (Swan was in the UK)

Well from reading that I figured that we really don't know how things were played out back then and simply going by public conception and text books might not be as through as we might think it is.

I could not, would not, in a house.
I would not, could not, with a mouse.
I would not eat them with a fox.
I would not eat them in a box.
I would not eat them here or there.
I would not eat them anywhere.
I would not eat green eggs and ham.
I do not like them, Sam-I-am.
