Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    The news is bad for missing images aug 27th - Oct 15

    I sincerely apologize for this, but these images are unretrievable. seem this hacker went strait for this area, we were backed up externally to Aug 27th 2010 and why we are still in business.

    I deeply regret losing anyone data, and take the responsibility on my shoulders. i thought i had it covered.

    we had a 3 tier back up system
    regular in house back up and offsite.
    and apparently that was not enough i will look into a way to further secure your files. so this will not happen ever again.

    the lost of 1 months data is unacceptable and i apologize and wish ,given the chance to earn your trust back.

    I'd like to think that I can speak for all of the phun bros when I say that your concern, and sincerity where this matter is concerned is much appreciated Cap.

    I believe you did in fact do all you could do to retrieve the "goods" and the thing we need to keep in mind at least as far as this place is concerned, is the fact that for the most part, the lost data was nothing more than pics that the vast majority of us are able to replace, and repost. It's not like any of us lost a loved one, a pet, or a penis. ;) 5 large per drive is too much to ask of anyone for data recovery. Keep your chin up Cap, and thanks for keeping us informed. :beerchug:

    Tough luck, that's bad news. I'll keep using the host, I rotate between it and imagevenue. I lost a lot of pics during that time period, but we move on. Sorry to hear about it.

    How should we replace the lost data?
    Adding the pics to the original thread and by doing that bump it or opening a new one with a link to the original thread?

    I noticed lot of images were missing while running searches and i suspected you'd lose alot.

    As long as you're back up and running again though. That's the main thing.
