Yep!

 

I did the dance thing in middle school, but when high school rolled around, my bitter, fuck you attitude came into play, and I wanted no part of it. My girlfriend at the time was hot as shit, and I was on my own/supporting myself. Therefore, the only things I cared about were getting my horn scraped, and getting liquored up when I wasn't working.

I see some of the jackasses I went to school with on occasion out, and about. All the "hot" chicks now seem to be bitter breeders that are just dying for some Longshanks action, and their husbands (fellow school chums ) are just as pathetic. Partying, porking, working for a living, and not giving a fuck are all I know. Fuck reunions, and dances, and shit. I already hang with the people that mean something to me. The rest of the high schoolers can blow me.

Well, I have a different experience.......I enjoy the reunions....seeing old friends and catching up....I am so easy going now and respect folks that have and are making their own way.....for the most part, I respect them and them me. I especially enjoy talking to the chick that I though were really neat and just to shy to approach.....they seem so surprised, and regret I did not approach them. So, different stokes for different folks. Thore is all about peace, love, compassion, etc. now.....live and let live, respect and be respected.......:wink:

 

I feel the same way. I chat with (on very rare occasion; pretty much only birthdays) maybe 5 people I went to high school with? Even 5 is pushing it. I grew up in a small town where my family is well known, and so is our business. Soo that's why I moved to FL. Fresh start. I don't even tell people when I'm in town visiting.

The past few years I've become pretty emotionless about family and friends. They all come and go. There is no use getting upset over it. I love my friends, but if they don't stay in my life so be it. The way I look at it is: if you don't want to be my friend any more it's fine by me. It's less bullshit and drama I have to deal with and I will eventually make new friends.

 

I'm in a good mood tonight.

 

I totally understand......I am from an old family in my home town, which I still live.....even have a school named after an uncle here.....I am what I am....take it or leave it.......and I am not very close with any of my remaining family as I have nothing in common with any of them.......but I love me and I love my friends......Oh, and dogs too!

I love my family from a distance I pretty much only talk to my grandparents and immediate family. Everyone else I could seriously give two shits if they kicked the bucket tomorrow.

And I do love my friends, but I've had too many friends come and go. So it doesn't even phase me anymore when people aren't around anymore.

 

Ok, wife is home and it is time to take both dogs for a walk....BBL.....great talking to Dreamer, Salty, PM, Inuk, etc. Gotta go now!
