    They don't need you to stay the whole shift.......just a few hours extra.......Unlike most plants........the corvette one runs one shift.........62 cars per day.......It's the most laid back of all of em.........most run 24/7.........this was the first year in the 12 years one of my bosses has worked here that GM did not do a full shut down for July..........Usually they close down for 2 weeks in July............but only a few plants have........That's a good sign for the US auto industry.........
    ask me about parts coming from Mexico...........it's a nitemare right now.......
