Sig Battle Challenge Thread

Oh man, that's a damn good idea! We could go through the whole discography in sig battle form!

 

deal. start now if you want, maybe set a deadline for the end of this week? should give me a chance to get my pc sorted.

here's my ideas for rules:

create a sig to represent ONE specific pearl jam studio album (of the main 9, no compilations)
atleast one piece of original artwork (not necessarily the cover) must be used
sig must contain the band and album name
try to keep imagery relevant to specfic album (i.e. no early 90s pics if you choose a recent album)

 

Sounds good to me, so I take it we're going to chose a specific album for both of us to work with, right?
(eg. Yield, and we'd both work on Yield)

Agreed on these:
- at least one piece of original artwork (from cover, booklet, back, inside, disc, etc) just has to be from the artwork it self.
- must contain album AND band name
- time period relevant to the bands career

But yeah, my question is do you want to do it like, we each just choose an album from the 9, or do you want to pick the SAME album and see what we come up with from that particular album art?

PS. Oh yeah, let's set the date for maybe Thursday night or Friday (?) I'll be back tomorrow so I'll have my sig done whenever, no pressure at all (that's the good thing about these battles) whenever you get your PC fixed we'll get this poll up!

Either would work, but I just think if we chose the same album then it's something we could continue to do with each different record.

yeah not the easiest cover to work with. inside the sleeve is interesting though.

the real question regarding the relevance of the images is do we have to find pictures where McCreadys weight suitably matches what it was during the albums production, as dictated by the tenacity of his drug addiction at the given time?

I'll watch that when I get home later razor, cheers. alive is probably my favourite solo of all time, it's fuckin amazing. mike never plays the same solo twice either so every performance is slightly different. truly a great musician.

cool. I'm gonna try to get my pc sorted today (Monday), reformatted and had problems, hopefully just a glitch or minor error.
