I didn't know if i should put this here or in about phun.org. I thought here might get more attention. If a mod wants to move it, go ahead.

We all know about NS but i was wondering if some people would be willing to put NSFW (not suitable for work for the uninitiated) In the thread title if it is applicable. I sometimes check phun at work and my boss nearly had a fucking fit when she saw me looking at one of the threads.
What do you thinken. Let the abuse begin.

 

Is it not the case though that phun, generally speaking, will never be safe for work? Even sigs in themselves would be highly offensive to some people we work with?

If I was viewing at work, even a 'clean' thread and someone clicked into it, they wouldn't be long working out that phun is really a porn thread - the overwhelming minority use GF.

 

I agree there are no real "clean" threads, even the ADD thread has tons of pornographic posts etc and as Gap said sigs are always a factor. Not a bad idea really, but overall I just don't see the point.

 

Well it is possible to deactivate sigs but still the majority of threads are NSFW.


So the very few that might be should get the label.

 

I wouldn't really say that, take the "Bukkake please" thread somebody started, from the name it just sounds like a discussion about avatar messages until GBTG posted that hideous picture p).

 

It is not do-able, surely the moderators could not be expected to delete adult material from threads on a porn board? I start a NSFW thread, someone posts tits, I go forum issues and ask the tits be removed??

It would require a child forum that was completely adult content free. Does NSFW extend to swear words? Racism? Underwear? Upskirts? Generally offensive images? Pokies?

Would you have to remove your avatar to post in a NSFW thread?

Nope, but from the thread topic and first few posts it just seemed like a regular discussion about avatar messages.

 

I was generally talking about pictures. I have sigs and avatars switched of when i'm at work.

 

I also realise the majority of threads will obviously be NSFW but i was thinking about general and creative for this.

I think the problem would be there is a lot of nsfw pics or videos all over phun and not just in one or two threads,so it would be hard to look at something that is safe at work.Mate you could get a iphone thats how i can have a look at phun when im working

 

Isn't there also a way to switch off all images?

 

They are ridiculously expensive here and i also dont want to be tied down with a contract so online time would be pricy too. Sometimes i can piggy back someones internet with my psp but that's not always possible.

 

Hey Biscuit, you can go to "edit options" and just untick "Show images".

 

But then i cant sneak a quick look at your boobs when my boss isn't around.

Thats the problem with iphone its very expensive to go online if you aint on a contract.If work wont be happy with you looking at phun you better stick with your psp mate
