have you read the book V For Vendetta?

It did suck that Ledger died cause he would have more than likely have been in the third film.

I actually thought they did a really good job introducing Harvey Dent and working in Two-Face. The kind of Two-Face we saw is based off of a story called "The Long Halloween" so I thought that was kinda cool.

You're right though, many comic book movies do have too many villains, Spider-Man 3 being a good example, but I thought The Dark Knight did it in a very clever way

    Oh there's a slight difference.

To me, best movies are flicks that I enjoy and are technically superior in the way it's produced and have a profound meaning/effect even after I see the film.

Favorite movies imply something that I can watch anytime and enjoy each and every time. They might have cheesy elements or have flaws, but my enjoyment of the content of the film overrides that.

Maybe i should have said comic book movie instead of super hero.
I have the original V comics, but not the GN
I guess I thought Joker was enough for one movie and that Harvey deserved his own.
Aside from it being KNAVE, that's a good one.

    Your fav movies

Talking about comic book movies, The Crow is going to get remade/rebooted.

Well, then - I guess these would be my personal favorite 5 ATM:

    1) Hot Fuzz - homage to every over-the-top double gun wielding action flick done to hilarious effect. Awesome.
    2) Hard Boiled - Arugably, the best of the HK John Woo gun flicks.
    3) Ronin - Hard, gritty espionage movie with some of the best car chase scenes ever seen (and done with REAL cars, no CG crap).
    4) Swingers - The story of my life, during my post-college years. Last minute road-trips to Vegas, 2 day rule in calling girls and NHL '97.
    5) Rushmore - Wes Anderson's best film, IMO. Great acting, hilarious situations, some clear touching moments and a classy ending. Also features a hot teacher with a sexy British accent. :naughty:

First one was pretty ok - never read the comic so can't attest to how true it was to comic book.

I've always thought the comic book "Preacher" would make an interesting movie/tv series.
