    i don't see why anyone who wanted to couldn't organise one. maybe a good idea to PM sid and check he hasn't got one planned and that he doens't mind someone else having a go at it since it was always his idea

    have a look at previous ones to see how it was done, makes it easier for you!

    basically, create a new thread for Sig Duel 5, and let people volunteer to take part and suggest themes, first 16 to respond take part. then take it from there by pairing them off. consider me first to volunteer ;)

    All makes sense but I see one problem, there are 2 that are in the duel and 1 of them has to make the thread right...so one person sends it to the other person and the member who has to start the thread could "Change" his to win after seeing his competition ?

    So why not have some one who IS in the contest and is NOT in that particular duel create the thread when both entries have been given.

    So basically everyone is assigned to "MANAGE" others duel ??

    I feel that's fair but needs participation to the max from every member :)

    yeah that's something that's come up before, but getting someone else to organise the vote will probably lead to delays in getting the polls up, and the duels go on for a few weeks as it is. in the past we've just sort of lived with the idea/hope that people will be honest with their entries
