AFX did a real nice job on the lighting in this one, and the focal image looks very crisp as well.

The text was done by me, but I think it could have been lit a little better. Good sig overall though!

I only know him through reputation and not his music, and he's mentioned in Angel of Harlem by U2.

REALLY nice smoothing effects, not even sure how you got it to look that smooth, font and font color is really nice as well.

I just docked 1 because I wasn't crazy about the pink box behind the text.

 

yeah text was the one thing I was unsure of, but I was aiming for a classic pin-up kind of look and worked on different ideas for about an hour. in the end that was the best one and I've come to like it more since I made it. smoothness was done with surface blur first and then 2 separate topazs at different settings. very pleased with it turned out, original image was vertical with her on a stool but the position worked for lying down as well. and I pimped her out by pinching her waist in and enlarging her tits and arse, give it a more 50s vintage glamour look!

Nice pinup look. Very clean borderless. Good double stroke on the txt. Pleasing/ complimenting color on the text as well. I dont mind the box behind the txt, since the intention is to balance the piece overall. Maybe give the box an outer bevel and the same drop style dropshadow as the girl, to make it look like a physical sign sitting next to her?

There does seem to be something odd about the curve at the top of (her) right leg. I dont see how her ass/leg joint could work that way. It's probably a result of the edited out stool you mentioned. Aside from that, it's primo work

PS. Since you put in the blue background, why save it as a 111K png since you didnt use the transparency anyway? With the background you'd have the same exact look with a jpg, which you could host in your phun album for speed and reliability instead of imagehost? The jpg size would be about 1/3 I think?

Basic sig. Good use of background blur to keep the focus on the subject.
Soft emboss on the txt works pretty good. Rather heavy border for a sig this style, dont know if I like it or not. The whole thing makes me think of Cate Blanchett.

If the same template is used for each one, then they're gonna get old fast.

That being said, the design itself IS brilliant, but too much of a good thing is just the opposite.
