  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    We should split the sexy and celebrity video forums for HD postings. One for each.

    Requirements?
    High definition: Around 720p or larger.

    Since so many vids are in HD now, it would be beneficial to filter them out from the clutter.

    I reckon we have enough subforums at the moment. Maybe if people label their thread titles by quality, ie putting [HD] next to the vid details, it'll be easy for people to narrow down what is and what isn't.

    Wouldn't mind hearing some more input on this subject though.

    I would suggest using a sticky as an index of HD video's.

    Users could create threads as they normally do, but if it is a high def video according to established standards (ie if it is a certain resolution or above), they could post a link to that thread in the index thread that would be stickied at the top of the videos forum. It would require posters to do a little extra work, but would keep people up to date without requiring extra subforums or anything like that.

    It's just a thought, but I've seen similar methods used for other forums. :2cent:

    If it's HD just put HD in the thread title. That seems to be the easiest way IMO.

    Actually, it won't. But at least people can easily see from the title whether it is or not. We'll give it more thought.
