Congrats helium. I'm gonna try and enter this week. It's been a while.

what would everyone's thoughts be about doing the sig of the week every 2 weeks all the time? entrant numbers were better this week, not by as much as i'd hoped, but can't really complain about 10 entries. i think doing it every 2 weeks would also make it a bit more casual, with longer to make the sigs people might not feel they need to sit down and get one down so urgently.

ideas?

And I personally would prefer to keep it weekly.

 

I'd prefer to keep it weekly as well, I'm gonna try and get into the routine of entering every week regardless though.

 

I'd say keep it weekly too, otherwise if someone doesn't manage to enter they have to wait a bit too long for the opportunity. It seems to me that the theme choice is the determining factor when it comes to the amount of entrants. Perhaps every month the theme should be freestyle or something, then there would be a decent amount of people participating at least once every 4 weeks.

I also think keeping it weekly is the way to go, and the idea about one freestyle round a month is also a good one. More entries this week and the standard of work was excellent IMO!

Maybe some kind of prize or reward for the winner? Some incentive always seem to motivate people

GBTG, since no one is gonna sponsor us cash or beer for a prize I guess, I was thinking maybe this:

The Tour de France leader gets a yellow jersey to make him look pretty and to make him stand out as head honcho for the time he's infront right. What if we made some kind of trophy sig or some cool winners badge or something sweet, that he can put up as his sig or add to his existing one, that says SOTW Winner/I'm da man/bragging rights or such. He may put this up for the week that he's winner, and passes it on to the next weeks winner etc.


Any thoughts on that?

 

we've done that before EoS, never really caught on. although the previous badge/medal did look like shit... i can say that, cos i made it
