Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    for the SOTW the size should be more flexible...
    for ex. 450x200 would be a nice size
    for some themes is hard to do something in ultrawide

    i don´t care too much about sizes in these contests, that´s more or less "your" (you who run SOTW) business - but the size of sigs actually in use in member-profiles is not "open for discussion"...

    i understand why people might prefer larger dimensions and more flexibility for the competitions, but the way i've always looked at it is that it's a SIG of the week competition, not picture of the week, or artwork of the week. therefore i think it makes sense to impose the same restrictions as for regular sigs, unless someone's theme calls for a temporary change to the dimensions one week.

    I liked the theme actually, I just totally forgot about to enter this week! I had all day to make a sig since I wasn't in to work until 3:30pm but it just slipped my mind!

    Next week I'll be in for sure! :thumbs:

    PS. Sig 2 is so fucking great!

    It's just not a theme that was ever going to attract a lot of entrants. Personally, I'd rather see a good amount of entries with a generic theme as opposed to how it's turned out this week.
