  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I grabbed 3 pics to work with of Sarah.

    Quick project for you. Pick any background, doesnt matter, just make it interesting.
    Grab a subject pic with a simple plain background. Set the mode for the subject layer to "darken only" create a new empty layer between the first 2. Grab your airbrush and choose a soft brush. Use ffffff plain white as the color. paint just the INSIDE of your subject layer in white on your empty layer. Whabam. You should now have a non cut out looking subject layer. If you got out in a few places just grab your eraser and remove the extraneous white till it's the way you want. ;)

    I don't even like this Mila one that much, it's just the only sig I have that is close to the new size limits. I couldn't believe it when I first discovered she was Meg from Family Guy.

    On source pics Ess, I just use anything really. As Cylnz said, just something that grabs my attention.

    Mila was not Meg in the 1st season, and maybe the 2nd. Lacey Chabert did Meg's voice sometimes in those seasons, though.

    Anything I've ever done in 3D has been made in PS.

    BTW Cylnz, that's pretty useful that technique. I won't show my results because I breezed through it, but I'd imagine if you zoomed in fully and took your time with the airbrushing you could get very good results.
