I was talking about Tough Love being replayed. I'm watching the Grammy's live and I don't think they will replay them again.

I think this is an interesting story, especially when you consider I was raised in a totally racist environment........Several years ago, my wife and I were helping our youngest son move up to Atlanta to go the Emory University. We had completed the days activities which started about 4 AM that morning and it was about 7 PM that night. We were very tired and wanted to go to a restaurant to have supper before going back to our motel to fall into bed. Emory University is just north east of Atlanta in an area called Decatur and we were a bit south of there are the motels were a little cheaper a few miles away from the university. Any how, we drove down the main drag and found a Red Lobster restaurant, parked, went inside, waited about 10 minutes to be seated as it was busy, was seated, ordered, etc. finally finishing and while leaving the tip I finally stood up and looked around........in the entire restaurant that seated probably between 100 and 150 people, including the entire staff....we were the only white folks as all the rest were black. I had to chuckle as I never noticed, never cared, and had to think how my now deceased parents etc. would have thought about that. It may take a generation, but intelligent people can overcome deep seated bias and prejudices. Sorry it was so long, but it is something I do not think I will forget as it is evidence of the baggage I have left behind....:wink:

Also, my boss is a white woman married to a black man.......no problem at all - great people with great kids and grand kids. Change is possible, but in some cases it must be slower than we might wish. It took me almost 40 years (from age 10 to 50) to 99.9% shed the racism shackles.
