I'll probably nap tonight, and then get 9 hours of sleep when I go to bed for real.

That's more like it.

On week days I sleep 5 or 6 hours, and catch it back during the weekend (9 or 10 hours).

 

I rarely get more than 6 hours ever

 

Sleeping is always weird for me 'cause I work midnights. I still get at least 7 hours on workdays.

Don't you ever crash early one night a week? When I worked one particular day job, I had to get up very early, but still tried to watch the talk show monologues. But once a week my body would crash me out really early.

 

When I worked third shift (11-7) I used to stay up until about 3 and then go to bed. The only day that was always messed up for sleeping was Sunday (the shift was Sun-Thur)

 

Working night would make me crazy ...

 

The summer I worked night shifts was probably the worst I ever had..

We were 2 in the whole building for 8 hours..

Let's say I used my Mp3 player quite a lot during that summer.

 

Sometimes...there will be some evening where I can barely keep my eyes open and I just go to bed. It doesn't happen often enough tho. Many times I'll try to go to bed early (at like 7 to try and get 8 hours) and I just end up lying in bed :?

 

During thw week, if I get more then 6 hours, I'm more tired than if I had slept between 5 and 6 hours.

It's weird.

But that catches me up sometimes in the afternoon.

 

Yeah, nothing like feeling pretty good all day long and then suddenly hitting that wall and barely being able to keep your eyes open. I've had that happen at work

 

It's hard to feel normal on this schedule.

 

Yeah, at least when I was doing it, I was working 5 days straight every week. I dunno how you manage with the one day on, one day off, two days on....that would kill me

 

Standing still on a chair, listening to a teacher can also be boring as hell.

 

I just stay on the same schedule every day, so a work night is like any other night, time-wise.

 

You need to get a pair of glasses like Homer had when he was on jury duty

 

Yeah, that's probably what I would do too...not much else you can do

Night work makes You loose it a bit ... sorry, but the normal diurnal rhythm is gone !

... Not in any way calling You crazy PM, but i could not do it !
I need my sleep at night !
