    yeah it's a good course and a way to help out Friends Mile.

    also good when you have a blown snowmobile engine and have to ship it out to get rebuilt. or when I have to fly my snowmobile 250 miles to my other home to race.

    I've been radar'd in a 1/4 mile ice drag strip at 105 miles per hour Mile. check it out, my 2009 Polaris 800 Switchback.

    yeah it's so much fun in the Ice Drags Mile!

    hell of a fucking adrenaline rush~! it's fucking scary as hell. but after the first run you lose it all and want to fucking win!

    trust me. having a sled with 155 to 160 horsepower holding it full throttle off the start and not letting go until you know you are done is unreal! fucking awesome feeling.

    scary as hell trying to slow down too. after the 1/4 mile run they didn't leave us enough room to slow down. only about 300 feet after the ice drag strip. after that I had to pump my breaks. after that there was only some rough snow on the Arctic Ocean. my front suspension was dropped right to the lowest it could go too. helps so that there is less drag and better aerodynamics to go faster!

    Sounds like so much fun though. I go to the drag races here every year when they come to town and that is scary enough to think of doing, I can't even imagine doing it on a sled on ice at those kinds of speeds!

    amazing how much power my snowmobile has. I really supe her up too. I've been wrenching since I was a young lad so all the modifications I do on my sled are done by me and my Cousin.

    one time I crashed my snowmobile. My Younger Brother blew his motor on a sled I gave him the year before. he kept the body for parts. I got him to send over the stripped body over to me.

    it took my Cousin and I 3 days to transfer every single part from my 800 over to the other body of the other sled. would have took us 2 but all the drinking we did after wrenching to 9pm caused us delays. LOL

    You crashed?? At those speeds while racing? I hope you didn't get hurt bad or anything...one crash probably would have scared me enough to never do it again!

    And damn, that sounds like a lot of work transferring all those parts, the alcohol would have been well deserved :lol:
