    Here are 2 puzzles. One from last week and today's. One is verbal, one is numerical.

    1) Take the 8-letter phrase "pray when." Double 4 of the letters. Take the 12 resulting letters to form a timely phrase.


    2) Arrange the numbers 2 through 7 in order. Add two math symbols so you get the result "2010." (I smell a trick in this one, but I'm not sure.)

    it was one that kept asking the computer to reboot AFX.

    had to shut it off with control alt delete, that reboot thing.

    It's from Will Shortz's National Public Radio segment on Weekend Edition, Sunday mornings. It's a 5-minute segment. He gives last week's answer, they pick a winner at random and do a live puzzle on the phone, then he gives a new puzzle for the next week. I listen to it every Sunday morning at 8:39 a.m.
