    I am not a moderator here, so this was of course only my personal suggestion, and it was first and foremost some tips to the newbies.

    But the quality of this thread depends on all contributors and every one of us should make an effort to avoid reposts. When the majority of all posts are reposts, then this thread becomes less interesting for everyone.

    You are one of the best contributors here, BQ. That's why we should cut you more slack than new contributors, but lately almost all your posts have been reposts (the last 3 only 2-4 weeks after the original posts.)

    I understand that you have been busy, and that you have had a hard time keeping up with all the posts lately, so here is a simple suggestion to make it easier for you:
    Save all the files you find here in a separate folder. Then you will at least avoid reposting newly posted files. :2cent:

    I don't want you to quit contributing, BQ. I'm sure you will find some great stuff to post again soon. :)

    Understandable. It is difficult to remember what I have already posted let alone everybody else. Just give it your best shot. I think we'd all rather sift through some dupes than have somebody fail to post a good one for fear of posting a dupe.

    One question: Is there a problem (i.e. does it cause trouble, get file banned, copyright issues, etc) if we post the filenames in text? I don't do it because I see pretty much nobody else does it. I always have the filename in the thumbnail, but that is not conducive to searching. For example, if I am posting the file PrettyGirl1.mpg, if I put that text in the message then people would be able to search for it to see if it was already here (assuming people retain the original file names which is not always true). Just wondering.

    Thanks to all posters for their great contributions over the last week or so.

    The only reason you shouldn't post the original file names is that it will make it easier to trace. Most commercial sites do regular searches for their files, some more notoriously than others.

    I like your method, Rondam, If I don't recognize the clip from the previews, I will often search my HDD for the filename found in your previews. If you have added a pretty accurate description of the file in the post, it will also be pretty easy to find in a thread search.
