Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I had to quit racquetball in 1990 due to my bad elbows and I cannot take the shock of manual log splitting of large logs, so I now rent a hydraulic splitter when I have a large source of such wood. I installed a wood stove insert several years ago and get much more efficient heat, but the size of the wood must be smaller than I am used to using - max length now is about 18 inches to fit through the front, glass door. Plus, after a few times of shoveling out the ash, it needs to cool completely and vacume the fine ash out as it blocks the inflowing air......My next house I will spend much time designing the large wood stove and area. I don't like central heat, but rather prefer a point of significant heat source - where you can go to get re-warmed when you are chilled. I grew up in a house with that type of heat and really prefer it.
