Salty, if I would have address my physical decline that initiated when I was 39 and had to quit playing racquetball when I would forty, I would have most likely avoided a great deal of expenses and pain. I have had two heart surgeries. Not only are they very expensive, but for me, very painful. I could not pick up an average bag of groceries for over a year after my last (and hopefully my last) bypass. So, I urge you to get into shape and see a doctor regarding blood lipids, etc. and if things are getting out of cntrol, get them back into control. I really really wish I had.

my Neighbor Lady is a cool lady. I've pulled out her jeep many times last year out of the ditch. she just came back from work. I gave her a couple slices of pizza. she was happy.

I normally order canned beer, but everyone knows it's better in bottles. more expensive to fly it in but damn it's good!

 

I'm still waiting for the good Lord to show his face. But when I hear testimonials from men that have been there/done that with slack expectations for the outcome, I become an instant believer. I think I can speak for all of the phun bros when I say we're glad that everything turned out okay with your surgeries, and you, and your loved ones are in our prayers Thore.

I am not particularly religious either, Salty. I am not soliciting anything. It is just sometimes really hard not to pass some of the lessons learned on to others in hopes they can benefit and maybe avoid some of the mistakes I have made.

I am in better condition now than I ever have been. My "blood stuff" is better now than when I was 25. I was fortunate in that I have suffered no heart damage and I am most hopeful that with my attention to my health, I can avoid future heart artery restrictions. Had I known then (when I was forty) what I have learned since then, I believe I could have avoided the medical emergencies and spared my family from the associated distress.
