Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     i just have a question...

    what is going on with imagehaven? there are a ton of pics missing from some of my posts, and i only looked at a couple of them. and 2 of my milestones i looked at got butchered with lost pics. :sad:

    will those pics return eventually, or are they lost forever?

    sorry if this isnt the right place for this question.

    It got hacked recently, Jay was telling me yesterday. Working on getting it fixed, and he's hopeful most or all images will be restored soon.

    Seems that these removeyourcontent-com-guys have been very busy.
    They killed every single of my BangBros, AmateurAllure, KarupsPC, NewSensation (Jizzbomb), BlacksOnBlondes/GloryHole, Joanna Angel, Hustler, My18Teens (and associated sites) and Nubiles links.
    I wonder if it would help to post everything without names and site-descriptions and edit the thumbnails too.
    I'm just curious: Does anybody know how they work. They must have some browser-plugins where all DVD-titles are stored. Otherwise it would be very complicated to find out for them that "Ass Cracking" and "Pleasures Of The Flash"-vids are provided through "ButtDivers" which is part of the Jizzbomb/NS emporium. Those guys must be good, chapeaux :mad:

    I have started giving the least amount of info required with my video posts. Model name, type of action, file type, host and date are all I put in the thread title, and they seem to last longer

    Well, it also depends if you're posting to other forums or if your uploads are being shared to other forums that aren't as "exclusive" as Phun. I've limited my uploads to a select few forums I like and I've noticed my links have lasted a great deal longer.

    Another technique you may want to try is password protecting your zip/rar files and including screencaps/screenshots of the videos in the zip/rar package. I know some users moan and groan about passwords, but I've had a lot of good lasting uploads when I use both processes.

    As to how the content police works, it's a combination of keyword macro searches and volunteers who patrol these forums. In the latter case, it's often notorious "cashhosters" who report links and then use the same content to host on other filehosters (a petty common occurrence happening on a lot of pr0n forums lately).
