    Great job.... I took your work one step further and made what I think can be called a "strip-ray'. The clothing was airbrushed out after being x-rayed and skin enhanced to create a seamless texture. I don't consider it a fake. Not in the traditional sense because all the parts are natural to the model. What do you think guys?

    Just my opinion but if you had to paint or "airbrush" anything on then it's a fake. You're adding things to the picture that wasn't there to begin with.

    I basically used the clone tool to enhance the texture.. Nothing added in the way that wasn't there already.

    Since you wanted opinions, I'd have to agree with X - I'm not a big fan of any airbrushing, cloning, or the other paint/smudge tools myself as it's a slippery slope to the darkside as it's replacing the original pixels with new made up info, not just altering their hues or brightness. If you're cloning you're replacing pixels from one area to another, essentially replacing the original content just as if you painted it in, since you're effectively painting with pixels from another part of the image. Whether it's a solid color or a clone stamp, it's still painting & making it up, worse than excessive burning & dodging can be.

    I respect your opinions although I don't entirely agree that my strip-ray is just another version of a fake image. My view is that I'm just revealing what is already there enhanced for a more natural presentation. Nevertheless, I'll explore the concept further in a separate thread rather that provoke another controversy in this one... Ride on high, my bro's....
