    In certain instances Bud is the only beer I want. I'm not saying it's best or worst, just what I want on occasion. That said, I also eat at tacobell occasionally and practically survived off of both as a youngster. I also enjoy Guiness with pizza. But there are some truly fine germanic beers. But I wouldnt piss in the crap they call hard liquor. There's a little place down the hiway from McCormicks distillery in Atchison, Ks that makes about 50 gallons a year of the smoothest, cleanest straight corn whiskey anywhere. You just cant buy it. They give it away as a solvent for washing dishes and getting out stains. And Purdle winery makes a fantastic blackberry brandy that goes for about $300 a bottle. I've had some sipping whiskey outside of Chattanooga, Tn that was some fine fine bourbon as well. But beer wise, I gotta go probably with Krombacher Pils.
    I just like its flavor and style. Besides, it's killer with homemade reuben sandwiches or boiled potatoes, kraut and grilled brauts

    Ah, but I love stouts. I liked Imperial stout best but I cant find it anymore. Guiness was the best replacement I could find Aside from Murphy's which is hard to find). I like Guiness. It's just not for everybody and most of the people drinking it are just a fad passing thru.

    For just drinking? Try Sweetheart Stout from Glasgow, Lord it's good.
