  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    There's nothing happening today that hasn't happened in the past in one form or another. Free market economies are cyclicable, and someone is always trying to take advantage of that and usually fucking it up in some way as a result. The thing is, in order to make money in the long run you have to keep consumers happy and positive. If people get conservative with their spending power, no one makes a profit, so even if you're a crook it behooves you not to piss off the consuming public too often.

    What's happening today will shake itself out. It has too. There's no other direction for the economy to go, not even further downward, because it's almost impossible to have a full scale economic depression in a global economy. It would take a catastrophe the likes of which man is incapable of creating, like a comet hitting the planet or a super cauldera erupting and destroying a nation.
