Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Just a curiosity this. Do the threads have a limit to the amount of posts in them? Like if random chat reached a million posts would it lock?

    The old ezboards locked at 500, i remember that.

    One more question...Is there a chance we change the 30.000 characters limit in posts?I know its not a problem that we face frequent but its a problem when we make megaposts...and have to do 2 posts or more.

    yes, it´s possible to increase the max. characters allowed per post.

    don´t know if there´s a chance to do it on phun...

    If i am going to make a really big post i use wordcount in MS Word to sort it out before i post. Then i try to post before anyone jumps in.

    Which is HARD!

    That's what I used to do when I was doing mega milestone threads. Paste it all from word and just post consecutively, that said mods don't have to worry about time periods in-between posts which makes it easier :D

    i´m one of those "lazy" model-forum-posters - these lame 20-pics-posts never endangered me to cross the 30K-character-limit - so i don´t see that an increase would be necessary.

    ;)

    anyways - ask one of the mods to discuss this with Cayne.
    technically the sky is the limit (afaik the vbulletin-max.-limit is 16MB text per post... figuratively unlimited, somehow, isn´t it? ;))
