  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I've never been on it. I just got internet access at my house and my 12 y/o son wants to get on Facebook but I told him he couldn't until I checked it out. Is there anyway parental controls on it?

    I wont let my girls get one until the are in HS, until then myspace only. It's really only meant for HS and above.

    My wife as facebook and myspace. She keeps tabs on my kids and all of our nieces and nephews, but that only works if they make her a friend, otherwise you'll get nothing.

    I have one without my full name though..;)...and occasionally log in to see if i have a PM...but most people get hooked on it and are online 24/7...like my brother...he got a blackberry recently and he's online of facebook via it all the time...i hate this site...i really hate it...
    All your friends know what you do...and the opposite..you give private info all the time without even understanding that you do...:confused:

    No, she doesn't police. We are consider the cool aunt and uncle. So the kids have no problem letting us in. We might advise them on right and wrong, but we don't rat them out, unless they do something complete stupid or life threatening.
