No, it is just a Remington 700 factory gun. The only thing i did with it is improved the trigger for a more sharp pull and an even 3 lbs pull. The factory setting was at 7 pounds which was just a bit to much.

The 22-250 use to be a wildcat round, meaning some guy necked down the original bullet to now hold a 22 caliber bullet. It was at one time the fastest bullet out on the market until the 222swift beat it. This is the same size bullet that an m16 shoots but is a few hundred feet per second faster. I am pushing 4,100fps on the 40 grain bullets and about 3,600fps on the 55 grain ones. The pictures of what the bullets can do is in my vacation thread i posted last year.

Actually, I really could use something powerful for home defense. I don't have shit except a kick ass switchblade. Halo 3 mofos!!! Cost a fortune. Anyway, just talkin drunk talk mostly. If mofo's show up again to rob me, and I"m actually here, I won't be visiting their funeral except later to piss on the graves. Those fucks do a lot more damage than they think they do.

if you want cheap ammo to shoot and have fun then yeah.

but for home defense i would go with a 40 caliber. Beretta are nice but if you like the look, Taurus makes the exact identical gun (they bought Beretta's machinery and equipment in Brazil) and makes them almost as nice but 200 bucks or so less. I would definitely look into one of those than an authentic beretta. Also if i had known you were interested a couple weeks ago i found a place selling a shitload of previously used but still in great shape Glocks that shoot the 40 cal. rounds for $350. Those things are nearly indestructible.
