    to be honest i wouldn't bother with 12 when it comes to quality, it massively increases the file size with no real noticeable difference in quality, i only ever use 12 if i'm dealing with something very high quality that i want to print, any other time i go for 10 at the most, sometimes 8 or 9 to control file size. honestly, output the same image twice, once with 12 and once with 9 and the only difference you'll see is filesize. with photos especially, not so sure about vectored graphics or images with very fine lines, all my sigs are around 8 or 9 cos i always aim for about 50kb

    You may have been mixing "indexed color" used in GIFs with RGB color used in most photos. I'll bet a buck that was the sharpness issue. Also, definitely do not keep re-saving JPGs as JPGs. Save as a PSD till you're ready for final output. Saving at "12" is too high for the Web. You should be able to save as "8" with no problem and quicker loading time. Better, if, in Photoshop, you choose File>Save For Web you get even better file sizing options.

    I have been working on this and trying to get it to look normal but... I am close but do not know what to do Finnish it off and give it that "sparkle". Suggestions or someone want to Finnish for me... :)
