Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     yeah it's quiet at work this week.

    I have to be good and on the wagon too. I am on the Emergency Management On Call this week. the five communities in our region are small. smallest community is like 800, largest is 1600. but in the event of an emergency or a Search for a Hunter Missing for example they call our Community as we are the Department responsible for coordinating searches.

    so I have the Emergency Phone this week and maybe next week. not too often the phone rings but when it does you have to be able to answer it. at least I get paid some Stand By Overtime for it. it's cool.

    You've mentioned doing that before, how often do you take call? I'm on call this week too, had to come up here 4 times over the weekend. They were easy fixes though.

    yeah it's pretty quiet so far. not much going on.

    usually once a month. depends on if I have to take the phone if the other guys are going on travel.

    ah cool man. yeah I saw you were on briefly on Sunday.

    We take it every 6 weeks. We're on 27/7 starting Friday afternoon @ 5:00 p.m.

    Yeah, came in twice Saturday and twice Sunday. I had a few on the golf course Sunday, was afraid they'd smell it on me but it was all good.

    there is usually 4 of us that take the phone for a week. but times some of us are travelling so we take turns covering off.

    No, it's usually not to bad. Every now and then you'll get a hell week. There will be several calls in the middle of the night. Even though you come in you still have to get up the next a.m. and go to work. Those are the only bad ones.
