  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

I've not been so keen on IV of late, I hate that 'continue to your image' thing you have to click.

Agree, but you only have to click it once per online session, for me it's still the best host out there.

Not only that, but is anyone else getting all of these weird script messages? Half the time Internet Explorer can't even load the image. I cringe every time I see it's IV that's trying to load the image, anymore, because it's sucking so badly.

well, if anyone is able to find a host that could handle at least a part of what imagevenue does - i´d be the first to promote it. but i doubt someone will find one...

i don't mind imageberm and hostingimage4u.com (but it goes nuts if you don't have firefox). filecloud, winimg.com, and picturefunk.com seem alright aswell.
(yes i understand most of these are not approved hosts but maybe the mods can review them)

on the subject of hosts do we really want to continue with rapidshare? every second post in the vidoes section is asking for a reup of a video done the same day!
The two mega's don't seem to have this problem and mediafire, netload and filefactory work fine for me but my money for best one would be depositfiles which is rapidshare withut the bs for free users. any chance of these being reveiwed for approval?

I've been a loyal supporter of IV as my main imagehost for so long now I can't remember using any other. I used Sharpuploader until IV did something that disabled it, so I transferred to III Uploader, and have found it fine until recently, when I've found with growing frequency that uploaded images get lost! I receive the code back (which is IV's way of confirming it's received and accepted the upload), but when I'm preparing to post, and use the preview facility, there it is - gone - one or more of the upload group are missing, and I have to upload them again! This has got to the stage that on virtually every upload I've made over the last week or two, IV has lost one or more images that it's appeared to have accepted!

I can't blame III Uploader because IV has in all these instances returned the image code - but the images just aren't there! I agree with Tai and River that IV is really the best we've got, but I do wish they'd get themselves sorted!
