Maybe mark, but it's the management that's the problem here. They can't put together a winning mentality here. Since the Ford family has owned the team (the last 45-50 years), the Lions have had phenomenal players (Barry Sanders, the best running back I've ever seen, for example), but they've been nowhere close to seeing a championship. When the ownership changes, you'll see a good football team here.

btw the Lions don't want Tebow ..... he's a great college player .... not expected to be a good pro. he won't be the first draft pick, that's for sure.

The Detroit Red Wings hockey team has had a winning owner/management setup since the late 1980s. They do it the way it's supposed to be done. The Wings set an example that all pro teams of any sport would die to have.

The Red Wings are always great! I am not a big hockey fan for the most part,but I have probably watched more Red Wings games in the last 10-15 years than I have Bruins games!
