I was worried at first about some of the designs (ship, bridge) but after seeing that trailer (about 20 times) I'm pumped for this movie I really hope it'll be good

I have been avoiding it for years although the opportunities were there. But this year i wanted to make a change in people's lives outside of my own community. I help volunteer at a food kitchen once to twice a week if time permits, but this coming summer the friar at our church wants to lead a small group back there to help out those in need outside our community. This is the 5th or 6th time he has done it but i finally put aside my prejudices about going back to a corrupted government to help those who need it most. So i hope to spend 2 weeks building homes in remote villages as well as see what some of the aids orphanages might need, including taking a kid out on the town and give them something they would never get.

And i will spend 1 week touring the country. I will see about taking photos and showing them to you guys once i get back. But it won't be till next summer.

 

they are so pitiful in Zoos. their Fur turns yellow, very sad.

a lot of people don't know that a Polar Bears skin is black, it aborbs all the heat from the Sun and keeps the Bears warm up here in the Arctic. down south imagine how much heat they are absorbing there.

it's hard to describe what it tastes like.

I could describe how it tastes different than Caribou or Musk Ox but you haven't tasted that either.

it's a rich tasting meat, much more so than beef.

Well going back with a church friar i don't think there would be much deviant stuff i can do.

I hope to also visit my grandparent's grave when i am back there. Have never seen their grave before. They both died very shortly after i fled the country.

The yellowing isn't detrimental, it's caused by bacteria growing in the hollow fibers of the hairs. No different than greening caused by alga that occurs to polar bears during summer when they spend alot of time in the water.

I can't recall the last time I heard of a polar bear being captured in the wild and being placed in a zoo. I'd venture to say that every polar bear in a zoo in the US was born in captivity, as were its parents and its parents parents, etc. They've adapted quite well and are wholy unsuitable for the wild.
