Rapidshare acount types?

Whats the difference between a premium account and a collectors account? And whats the premium zone and collectors zone?

I'm premium and have never noticed the collectors account stuff before.

 

maybe pro and casual porn downloader?

 

assuming this is not a joke about common newbie-threads and i´m about to walk in the trap...

collector-account is the way to get a premium account without paying. it stores uploaded files, points for downloads are generated same as for a premium-account - and you can convert points to premium-accounts.

difference: no download-advantages - if you download rs-links you´re treated like a free user.

Sorry! I do not have the money to pay crapidshare!
neither I download that much and never keep movies on my HDD more than two days.
So why do I need to pay crapidshare for?

 

No-one said that you do. This was a legitimate question that i was curious about. Not a rapidshare advert.

 

You dont have to pay to get a collectors account...You just upload files and when they have been downloaded 10.000 times you get a free month on Premium account...
Thats why i said im 2600 short.I wait for some more downloads of the files that i have occasionally posted..

 

Just got the following message trying to d/l from Rapidshare...

"We regret that currently we have no available slots for free users. Unfortunately you will have to wait 2 minutes, this will allow us to continue to provide our service to our Premium users. Afterwards it will be checked again if you can access the file. If you do not want to wait that long, become Premium member. Please note, the server is not going to check again within the next 2 minutes if downloading is possible again. To provide a fair platform, all user get the same options.


WTF?!?

Anyone ever seen this before? What a bunch of crap!

 

..Well if one lot of people are paying for it and another lot arn't, it's a bit rude to offer the same service to everyone don't you think?? lol hence why being a premium member is better, if you don't like waiting fork out the cash or upload some vids..it doesnt take long to rack up some points..

I never implied the free and premium service was or should be the the same. I fully understand and expect that they would be different...duh!

For quite a long time now there has typically been a countdown clock associated with using the free service. For the first time since I've used it, instead of the countdown clock, I got the message that I posted.

All I was asking was if anyone else ever saw the same message....which is essentially the same as saying we're temporarily shutting down our free service. Something I don't think they've ever done.

 

Well i'm not blind mate and it sounds to me as though your whinging about a free service and to me that message is the same as the countdown clock they had. Live with the drawback or become a premium user, ive been a free user and im now a premium user and i can tell you that it takes fuck all to upload a couple of vids and rack up 10k points..

 

Where do I get this "fuck all" and how much does it cost?

 

You upload the vids or whatever of your choice to a rapidshare collectors account, just go to the RS site, then post them (within the rules of this forum or where ever you post them) and when you have 10k points you can convert them into a premium account! and then just keep it going so you never have to pay..
