Unbelivable!

Well, when I shout "REPOST" (as some said), I always put the path for the original thread.

It just so happened that I a post something with the title "Amy Smart - nipple slip on the set of Crank 2". I referred a previous thread that had many pictures of that sunny day at the set, but I had some more - including a nipple slip and several (almost) bare ass shots. So I posted them.

However, in less than a minute, someone cried REPOST. But only that, without any link to the original link.

Anyway, I apologised for that saying that I probably missed them at the search that I made and ask if someone could delete the thread.

I immediately start searching again for the photos. And, with some surprise, I didn't found them!

So, I ran to my post to straight things out. But, for my surprise, the thread no longer existed! It had simply vanished!!!

What hell is going on?!!!!! More flagrant REPOSTS last for weeks! And mine is just deleted without any confirmation of being a REPOST and without any explanation?!

I'm not here, at Phun, for a long time... Probably for that, I didn't saw this coming...

 

Firstly, this thread doesn't belong in the celeb forum as it isn't a pic post, so I've moved it to the right place.

Secondly, the correct grammatical term is 'I didn't find them' not 'I didn't found them.'

Thirdly, you said you were fine that your thread was to be deleted, so why complain now?

Ok. Everything is cleared up. But who shout repost should have posted the link. I search for "Amy Smart" for thread titles only... In 41 results, it seems I missed a few.

Except for the grammar corrections... Not being my native thong, I thing I do pretty well! But thanks though.

And yes. This thread probably took more time than the search. But I a sucker for clearing things up!

Try narrowing your search by always using advanced search. use the titles only option and define what room you are searching in. little things like that can make a difference.

 

That is good advice.

Also try using an approved imagehost host in the future, repost or not your thread would've been trashed.

Spot on. trol, aside from doing an advanced search, also put in more than one key word. See the thumb below, by searching off 'Smart crank' it limits the amount of Amy Smart threads and the one in question appears on page 1, instead of page 4 or 5.




You're right, it is preferred that when people point out a repost, that they put the link to the original thread. I was the one who trashed your repost, by looking at the pics I knew they'd been posted here before. If I hadn't recognised them, I'd have asked the person who commented to find the original thread so I could feel safe in the fact that I was trashing a repost, and not an original thread.

Glad this is settled and that you don't feel like you're being victimised. We all repost now and then. Hell, I did it yesterday and I've been posting threads here for years. If you do the best search you can and don't see the pics, feel free to post it. If it does get trashed and you've followed the other rules, it probably is a repost and you can use the Forum Issues thread to query it if needs be.
