minimum age for pics in celebrity section?

Adding an age in the thread title for anyone under 18 is a good idea in my opinion.

 

Let's face it, this -is- a porn board. Porn should be 18+, end of story. Is there -really- that much of a difference between ogling and making comments about a fifteen year-old versus a sixteen year-old? Not in my humble opinion.

 

I think Azz has it bang on here. Pics are fine at 16 but if someone is excessively lewd in their posts it should get deleted and them warned or banned if it's really nasty. But for sure no under 16's should be incorporated into the rules.

I suggested ages ago about an automatic PM being sent to members when they join with the rules in it. Would this be possible/viable/worth it?

True, but celeb pics at an event for example isn't porn. The model forum contains a lot of porn, the celeb forum has some but not a lot.

This is clearly an issue that needs resolving and further discussion. I take the point re deleting Fanning topics but letting Selena Gomez, Taylor Momsen be posted. So maybe the 16+ rule will have to take place, not that we'll be going back and deleting topics from before but then we'll be consistent from now on.

We always said when we started the Hellbus that comments and pics are for 16 and over. I agree with the consensus of the mods what ever they decide.

 

Yes, there should be an age set so that there is no question of what is or isn't allowed. I may be the person who first posted the Dakota pics a while back, but I did it more or less to see what was or wasn't acceptable. I made no lewd comments about the photos, her age was clearly stated, and the photos themselves were not in any way provocative. Several members objected, and I pointed out the fact that there were many photos being posted of other girls who were the same age, and hardly anyone thought they were inappropriate. I guessed that the negative reaction was due to people's memories of Dakota were those based on seeing her in Children's roles.
Anyway, I wasn't upset by the deletion, I was cool with it, but I've noticed a definite double standard still applies. Taylor Momsen photos are being posted regularly, as well as other girls without anything being deleted.
So, what's the deal? Whoever is the administrator of this board needs to make a clear and unequivocal decision.

Basically the mods aren't going to allow any posting of celebs under 16. The posts that are already here won't be getting deleted that's why Taylor Momsen pics are still here.
