Wow.

I spend most of my time, for the last couple years, in what is widely regarded and accepted as the Asshole of the Internet, and I seem to be one of the most sympathetic people here?

mastermind, love your work and i think you were totally wronged on this. Maybe they need to change the rules of the thread to when you say anything bad about a person on here, you get banned. ( as long as the person being made fun of post nude pictures of themselves). love your stuff and would love to know where you will be posting in the future. shoot me a pm.

on another note, this is my second favorite thread that has been killed lately. first the celeb see thru thread and no the mastermind gif. at this point, i will have nothing to fap to by christmas.

 

At this point it doesn't matter. Sometimes you just have to deal with the bad breaks in life. What's done is done and it's time to move on.

Don't worry you'll be informed where I'm going when that time comes.

Try to look at it as the Mastermind GIF thread moving to another location. You won't miss out on anything.

 

I know of a few places that you post at, so I'll be sure to check those places for your work.

I'm not taking sides, and I didn't see the original post that started this all, but I've never seen someone taking so long to leave. If you were going to leave, you would have left. Why stall it out for a week?

I see the same thing on other forums. Someone gets reprimanded for something, and then pretends that they want to leave the forum, because their ego was wounded when they got bitch slapped by the mods.

It's just like when you watch cops and someone thinks they are too good to be arrested. This goes on for awhile until the guilty party finally apologizes for their wrong doing, and everything goes back to normal.

Both people are good contributors to the board. Just shake hands and move on. Everyone says something stupid and has to eat their words from time to time, it's no big deal.

 

He's making gifs for people that requested them and that takes time.

 

Obviously you missed a previous post I made that stated I would FILL all remaining requests before I left. Scroll a few pages back it's not that hard. Filling requests takes time as you should know from a request I filled for YOU.

 

MM, You will be sadly missed. You are one of the most generous and dedicated members of this forum. Thanks for filling my previous request, and hopefully still filling my pending one (although I'll understand if you don't). Please let me know where I'll be able to follow you and the remarkable work you do.

I am not a huge viewer of this sub-forum and hence this thread was brought to my attention by another member. I have a few things to say and after that I will leave it at that.

MasterMind knows how appreciative I am of his work, especially his tutorial on how to make the gifs. Hence it is still stickied till today. Nobody questions his contribution and dedication to the forum. But as such we do have rules here that everybody must follow. This was the rule that was broken:

Now having read MM's version of account if he had felt that it was all a misunderstanding in our rules we do have a formal way to file one's grievances. Here is what it states:

So the process to tell his side of the story was there for him. Nobody is perfect on here and I am not asking MM to be one. But the fact of the matter is he insulted a fellow member, his account was suspended for violating the rules, he did not take advantage of an available form of protest/complaint to tell us his side of the story and hence the ban was left in place. If this is all a misunderstanding that is fine, but as moderators of this forum we must abide by the rules that are in place. It should not matter if the person violating the rules is new or a long time member. We have to be fair and subjective to everybody. If we played favoritism then we would not be acting fairly to everybody else on this board.

Having said all this I do hope he would reconsider his decision to leave and give it some thought from our friendship we have built throughout the years. If he still chooses to leave I wish him luck wherever he is going and hope the places he goes will appreciate his work as much as so many of the members here had.

I think WTF is 100% correct. I also think that MM has stated his position and should either take the correct action to reverse it or to follow through with it.

One way or another everyone has been very gracious to him including the person he made the childish, school ground, stupid remark to. All that said it has been going on so long now it is tiring.

MM should finally state his position and piss or get off the pot

 

I'm very clear of the rules, however as I've stated many times in my account I didn't know Euphoria was a member of the forum I didn't know who she was. Any so-called insult was under the notion that I wasn't aware who she was. I purposely wouldn't insult her if I knew who she was. Why are you like many others not understanding this point?

I think that system stinks. I believe a person should be allowed to tell his or her account before any ban be handed out. It would avoid situations like this. Once again I didn't know who Euphoria was; I was not aware she was a member of the forum. I haven't visited the models section in years. For all I know Jessica Simpson could be modeling in that section and I wouldn't have a clue. A ban first hear the account second system is plain dumb.

No hard feelings wtfazzhole, but I need to move on. I think you guys need to seriously take a second look at your ban system. It sends the wrong message and is a mockery of justice. In real life you don't send a guy to prison before he has a trial so why would you have a system that bans someone before they are properly heard?

I completely disagree with that. Banning me and then multiple members throwing me under the bus is pretty far from being very gracious to me.

Nobody is putting a gun to your head to click into this thread. If you find this situation tiring and don't want to hear anything more about it simply don't click into the thread. It's that simple!

I already stated my position; I just wish people would read before posting.

it doesn´t need to be a Superman or mastermind to think twice before posting, even in a "banter-heavy"-atmosphere like phun.
(or to check the thread you´re commenting on before placing a comment - the one who was insulted posted twice in that thread proir to your affront).

thanks for your efforts here, hope you´ll find a place where people don´t tend to misunderstand you - but have in mind: sometimes a single post is able to wash away all previously earned and deserved respect.

People really need to do a little research, or, you know, look at a post or two above you before posting. Maybe it'll enlighten you/answer your question/not make you look like a wanker. That goes for everywhere/everyone in general.

MM, you reminded me of what this is like. You're Guilty until proven Innocent (if then). Can't believe I didn't make the connection before. I feel a little slow. (More than normal that is.)

I really think I'm just going to start lurking again. I did it before for a good year and a half. I'll be less likely to call someone something and insinuate something about their possible pastime. My other internet habits are trying to leak through.

I don't know about you River, but I don't check the forum to see who and who isn't a member before making an off-hand comment. Also, this thread is 60+ pages long, not including the old Gif thread (this is the second right?), and all the names start to blend together.

 

Nobody is putting a gun to your head to fill requests. retire gracefully. IMO

I don't know about the other people awaiting requests, but I'm eaglerly awaiting mine. I think it's a testament to MM's commitment and generosity that he is sticking around filling all remaining requests.
