Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Well, well said. I'm trying to get away from the word "best" when talking about those who excel, though, even though I used the word earlier. (Society's too obsessed with "The Best.")

    Gilmore is exactly what you said. Like any great musician, he could play any style of music and excel at it. He has the mind for what's supposed to happen. Nobody can copy him. A magnificent player.

    If there was someway to qualify it, I would say that his solo in 'Time' is the widest known, instantly recognized guitar solo in history. What's more, it's absolutely unique. I've never heard anything remotely similar, even by Gilmore himself. That's beyond remarkable.
