    Do you have a set amount taken out of your check each time or does it depend on the amount you earn that time. Here we are in a certain bracket, if you make a certain amount more than that bracket you move to the next one for that paycheck only and they take more out on you. However, if for some reason you don't as much as that bracket the percentage stays the same.

    I dont see it here ,we are too democratic for this(to the point that nothing happens cause of only one person)

    During the Olympic games preparation a road was held back 2 years cause a person went to the court to keep his garden

    Here it depends on how much you earn and where you are living. The normal is about 35 % of the income.

    Well here we have an ammount till that you dont pay taxes.Then you pay a percentage by income.Then its your house/car and everything according to their value....but tax evasion rules in Greece

    Gov`t housing ?

    If you live in a rich municipality you pay less just on your income but often for ex. the houses are more expensive and then you pay more. Here they call it "Robin Hood"- tax

    Our property tax is totally seperate from our income tax. It's rated pretty much the same as yours it sounds like - the amount depends on the value of the home.
