1) mainstream rom-com or not, think it was fair to expect more than a 1 second glimpse of 1 nipple

2) because it's sydney is exactly the reason the rumors were credible... cause she is fine doing nudity so we've come to kinda expect it

3) i wouldn't call what we saw "some" nudity... it was as "brief" as brief can get

with all that said my comment you quoted still holds true... never listening to rumors/details again, will just wait until a movie comes out and see what got in

Except it was credible. There is evidence of deleted and shortened scenes that never made their way into any release

 

Is it a decent scene?

 

1) what evidence other than the 1 or 2 "reports" from random people? we read similar stuff with that daddario movie years ago "lost girls and love hotels" or whatever it was called... what makes them credible and what evidence is there? Unless I am mistaken, the only evidence would be in the form of the actual video of said scenes, have you seen them?

2) again, my point stands, until something is released with the nudity that was discussed, not believing anything anymore

anyone can say anything, maybe they get joy out of spreading rumors that don't come to fruition... by the same token, if the scenes get cut and are never released then what does it even matter if it was filmed or not?

 

A good rule of thumb to have in this situation is:

If I haven’t seen proof of it, it doesn’t exist.

 

To the last point, it matters in terms of actor/actress intent, which is what we're talking about vis-a-vis Sweeney.

The reports were consistent with each other and got other bits spot on. But it's clear scenes were removed because there's a lot of bizarre editing in that last intimacy scene.

 

sure, my point behind it all is not a knock on sydney necessarily or any actress for not doing nudity or showing it... i am in agreement that likely nude stuff was shot with her for the movie... and that's awesome for people who worked on it/edited it/etc. and got to see it before it was removed... but if me... and all of us... never got to see it then what good does it do us? might as well not have been shot in the first place

Felicity Jones has two nude scenes in 'The Brutalist'

The first is her in the bath, partially covered but you do get a good look at her bush through the water. Possible merkin?
The second is a sex scene, lots of close ups, including of her breasts & bush. Possible body-double?

 

So she might not have any actual nude scenes.

 

A review for Queen of the Ring said the film will "Probably will be rated PG-13 for violence and language" so I am assuming there is no nudity unless he saw a censored version and the uncut version gets wide release instead.

 

It's better than just side boob to be fair. Hope you're keeping an eye out for that 4k version.

 

Jeez, now that sounds insane. Absolutely love Felicity. Have you seen the movie (it sounds like a pretty good film)? Most of the few reviews and IMDB seem to only mention the one prostitute two prostitutes that the main character has sex with in the opening as the only nudity. But if there is actually Felicity Jones nudity, that would make an interesting film a must watch for me.
