Thanks. I have a good roll model in my dad. He's fair minded and easy going and considerate of others and he's always had a great sense of humor. I just try to be like him, except I'm alot edgier.

I know that. You don't have to qualify every jab you take at me bama. I'm not thin skinned like some of the members on this board. In fact, I'm old and crusty, like an oak tree.

 

I heard something on the radio on the way to work this a.m. that made me chuckle. They were asking people what they always swore they would not do but turn around and did it anyway. One guy called in and said he swore he would not be like his dad - now that he had kids he sees his dad in himself everyday. He said "I think I realized it when I told my oldest son - boy, I brought you in to this world and if you don't straighten up i'll take you out" lines my dad used as well as me using them on my 12 y/o son.

 

That's for damn sure.

not to give off "poor me-boo hoo" vibe but if I acted like my dad I would be horribly abusive to my entire family, hate anyone who was different from me, & bail out on the ones who needed me most. & quite frankly be a self-absorbed, manipulative asshole.
