  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Hi,
    Is there any good software in which I can put a set of pics and order it to number all the pics in the way I desire.

    eg: add prefix/suffix , start from a number & continue (13,14,15,16.....) , number like 001, 002, 003 etc

    right click the group and rename

    rename 50 images this

    winona.jpg

    and it will automatically number all of them for you.

    it does. you can also add (1) at the end of the first so every image has a number. i just marked em all and named the first image (1).jpeg

    Here is it with pics. :)

    I use an image viewer software that can rename the pics comfortable, it's these "FastStone Image Viewer" homesite , anyone maybe knows of Irfanview do this too. Both are not small aplications.

    Found one that is small (around 1Mb), updated 2008-05-12 and free (by Antoine Potten, Belgium) Or is Antheh the autor? :p. But i don't know if it does what you asked though, homesite:Ant Renamer.

    Batch Image Resizer has a renamer function also.You can even select a folder and rename the pictures in it.

    Thanks to all the for the recommendations.

    I will try the softwares & tricks mentioned above & let you all know. In the mean time see if you can find some more great tools/softwares for image sequencing & provide their links.
    I use Irfanview for screen capture, image conversion & small image enhancements any idea how it numbers images in batch ?
