Even as pretty as she is, it doesn't take away from the fact that she just tries to look miserable and moody all the time now.
And if you said that you'd be sexist for telling her to smile.

 

She certainly doesn't look happy there

 

Not only sad she looks angry on these pics.

 

Can't decide whether its her trying or she just is. Seems like she never has any interest in being wherever she is lately and isnt putting any effort into making it look otherwise.

 

I don't doubt that she's genuinely unhappy

 

She's been looking quite happy at all the recent event pics, just not on the red carpets (which is usually what gets posted here).

 

Putting on a brave face

 

Showing her true miserable mood for a few minutes on the red carpet in front of dozens of cameras but putting on a brave face for the rest of the evening when only occasionally (and less obviously) being in focus of a camera. Yes, that must be it.

 

She's plant based! What do you expect, I'd give her some meat in the ball room. Can't wait for these formal "long gown" events to be over!!! This beauty needs a micro mini!!

 

I used to think she was a fantastic actor but for years now she has just chosen roles that she gets to cry and be miserable in. If you remove the marvel stuff it's all dull, misery-laden, drama, borefests.

 

Unironically yes. That 'rest of evening' would have been her with friends and co-stars, people she wouldn't want to fret over her, and potential collaborators and business partners, people she would want to make a good impression on.

But the photographers? The Daily Mail and all the red tops are going to write 50 million articles about how Natalie's still reeling from the breakdown of her marriage regardless of her demeanour, so why bother to put up a front for them? Not to mention their assigned reporters were probably heckling her, asking her a dozen questions about her marriage in their attempt to be serious journalists, further contributing to her mood

 

A lot of assumptions, maybes and probablys. Fact is she looks miserable on the red carpets. That's what has been said and the fact that you are defending it means you agree. I dont see anyone asking why. Just stating a fact that she looks totally disinterested in being there. You're providing an argument to a statement you agree with and a question nobody asked.

 

She knows what you are doing to her pic and is disappointed.

 

Maybe she's in the "smiling causes wrinkles as you age" camp...or maybe shes had a piece of parsley stuck in her teeth that she cant seem to get rid of!

She looks incredible, regardless.
