    Yes they are. Fucking huge gun, heavily armored bathtub around the pilot, and they can lose a significant portion of a wing and still fly.

    They're in the middle of an upgrade now, with smart bombs, improved ECMs, and new wings to extend the service life out for another 20 years.

    It can also take alot of damage, like losing up to 50% of a wing, and still be maneuverable.

    Good thing too cuz they're slow as fuck. We have Nellis Air Force Base here in Las Vegas, a huge training base for all of the NATO partners. A10s are like the ugly step-children of everything else that flies in and out of there! :D
