Shit, chock full of writers.

I've got about five really good projects running in stream, and one fully completed novel under my belt.
And then about a dozen `cold` stories and forty or so fragments ranging from a kernel of an idea to about sixty pages long.


Mmmm - writing, internet existence, celebs, porn - maybe there is some psychological explanation here.........

 

That's funny.....I can't tell you how many times i've been in a class and a question comes up and the trainer resonds "I'll have to check on that and get back with you after class" Admittingly, some of the questions are totally off the wall but many of them are legit ones that they should at least have some idea.

 

Completed 6 screenplays awith another 22 in the works. 5 novels on the go, only one finished (drafted) though. A shit load of short stories. So many i fogret i've written them when i go over them sometimes.

Amount i've sold....ZERO!!

 

As for genre, none. I tend to think of myself as a shock writer but i've also written a series of childrens stories. Which is the most fun.

 

Then there is the tried and true - Parking Lot

Let's put that question in the parking lot and see if it is answered later in training. If not, I will answer it before we leave.

At the next break, the trainer calls the expert, asks, writes it down, and then trains it with, "I think we just answered a parking lot question!" Making you look forward thinking and the trainer smart.

Be careful with that - the ban stick could come flying for flaming.

 

I'm not saying whether it's right or wrong...just saying that I've seen the same thing happen before and they not only banned the one that started it - they banned the others for the comments. Flaming is flaming afterall.

 

When I do see stuff that pisses me off like that I usually just try to take in to account that it really is someone that doesn't deserve my time and ignore it. Sometimes it's very hard to do though.
