  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Lots of us must have suffered recently at the hands of Imagesocket with their withholding images, telling us it's exceeded 1GB of bandwidth, which on a tiny sig seems highly unlikely! Now they're asking for date of birth before producing an image! I think they must be tired of life!

    you must not be logged in. log in and it doesnt ask for the DOB

    but yeah, socket is shit. i had a sig on my own board that was tiny and it ran out of bandwidth after two days.

    not that i like this DOB-"feature", but maybe it´s just to protect themselves. i highly doubt that imagesocket (as many other imagehoster) have been made actually to host adult content.

    registering on imagesocket exceeds this limit to 2GB.

    and have in mind - it´s not a limit for a certain time, it´s a cumulative limit.

    Of course! An "under-age" browser would never dream of entering a fake DOB, would they, so it's completely secure! ;)

    well, you know... sometimes it´s just good to have a rule/reglementation...

    or maybe imageshadow just collects DOB´s to send out gifts for regular visitors? ;)
