    we do have stuff barged in every year. when they run out of it they have to fly everything else in and then the prices really go fucking high.

    Me? I'm in Las Vegas. This place is like retail central. On the one hand it has it's advantages. On the other, it's just a big crowded mess. Nearly 2 million people live here now. In the desert. It's all crammed into a valley 20 miles long and 10 miles wide. Drive ten minutes outside the valley and you are in the middle of nowhere. Literally.

    Nunavut spans most of northern Canada, right? Lots of tundra, a gazillion lakes, a giant impact crater and some of the world richest diamond deposits? Or am I thinking of another province?

    CSI is filmed mostly in and around Los Angeles. Occasionally they come to Vegas to do exterior shots and a scene or two in the casinos, but not often. I've seen Gary Dourdan and the redheaded chick on one occasion when they were shooting at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. I also saw the HBO show Entourage being shot there as well. Usually when film crews are about they are more of a nuicance than anything.

    That was interesting. Thanx. Does the government fuck with you guys very much, or are they content to pretty much let you be. I know that northern Canada is proving to be resource rich and where there's money there's bureaucrats making a bother of themselves! This is true everywhere you go. :)
