Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     The colder it is and the closer it is to water, the slower the sap flows (hence the sweeter and more maple-y the syrup is). Hence Maine and Quebec pwning the market, but Quebec sells mostly into Canada and Maine has low production so Vermont has the biggest market share for premium US sales.

    They're all good. And really, any real maple syrup is good. It's the crappy Log Cabin/Aunt Jemima stuff that's (for real, not a joke) 2% maple syrup and 98% corn syrup and other crap that sucks.

    Real maple syrup kicks ass.

    pancakes:
    1 c. milk
    2 T. melted butter
    2 eggs
    1 c. flour
    2 T sugar
    2 t baking powder
    1/4 t. salt

    mix the dry stuff, mix the wet stuff, combine, and make pancakes.
