Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Fight Club's not an action movie. Well worth seeing unless you just hate all forms of violence.

    Predator is an action movie (and an overrated one, IMO; it's good but hardly great).

    The first Terminator is action/horror. Good, but Alien pulled off that genre crossover better, IMO.
    The second one is a action blockbuster/special effects vehicle. It's one of the best in the genre, but if you don't like the genre...aside from the first Die Hard, it's maybe the best of the action blockbusters of the 80s/early 90s.
    The third one is pretty crappy even for people who like action movies.

    I didn't like Alien, it was one of those that I watched for a little while and just couldn't get in to it so I turned it off.

    If you've not see Die Hard, and you ever feel like giving action movies a shot, that's the one to see. The others he mentioned are all just o.k. (aside from the terminators which I already chimed in on).

    Don't really get in to horror movies either. The ones back in the 80's were good like Friday the 13th, Children of the Corn, etc.. but all the newest ones I've tried to watch are just to fictional to me.

    It's awesome, much better than Aliens IMO. But it's more of a pacing/psychological film that moves slowly. I'm guessing that there's a strong correlation between liking Alien and liking Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey.

    Guess that's why I didn't like it, if it doesn't get my attention within 15 - 20 minutes I usually turn it off or go do something else if the wife is watching it.

    each their own Mel. That's why there is so many different genre's of movies, music, sports, etc...
